How to Make a Credit Card Payment with PayPal

  1. Choose your Membership Category in the drop down list above on the left. The first default is Professional, however, there are 3 additional choices: Intern, Subscriber (which includes Inactive/Retired)  and Student. A PayPal service charge has been added to the regular membership fee (as shown on your membership invoice renewal form)
  2. Next, select the 'Pay Now' button above on your right.

  3. The next screen will offer a choice of 2 buttons 'Check Out' or  'Checkout with PayPal'.  Most CAHP members will not have a PayPal account and will want to pay by credit card.

    Choose the 'Check Out' button to pay by credit card.

    The next screen you reach will ask you first if you want to use your Paypal account to pay. Do not choose this link. Below this is another link that reads 'Don't have a PayPal Account?' Click on this link to get the credit card payment method screen.

    When you reach this screen, you will be able to enter your credit card information. Follow instructions for payment and you will receive an emailed receipt on completion verifying your payment.

    If you make a mistake before final submission by entering the wrong information, click the link at the bottom of the page which reads  'Cancel and return to Canadian Association of Professionals Website and start over.'
